We offer fully restored Garrard turntables, in collaboration with the Garrard specialists at Audio Grail.

Each unit is a genuine original, meticulously rebuilt from the ground up—including the paintwork—to match the quality and appearance of the models that left the factory in the 1950s and 1960s.

We pair these Garrard drives with handcrafted plinths from Tonapparate in Germany, available in a variety of carefully selected wood types and expertly damped for optimal performance. We also design custom sideboards that allow these classic Garrards to reach their full sonic potential.

In addition, we can advise on the most suitable tonearm and phono cartridge combinations to help you extract every nuance from your records and create a sound that is truly your own.

Plinths and sideboards can also be custom-built for other turntable brands.

A sideboard allows you to elegantly conceal your audio equipment and integrate it seamlessly into your living space. The audio furniture is developed in collaboration with the acoustic engineers at Tonapparate, combining technical expertise with refined craftsmanship.

Each piece is fully customizable in terms of size and wood type, and can be equipped with pneumatic suspension. These are truly one-of-a-kind creations—exclusive, timeless, and built to last.

In the example shown below, the sideboard is fitted with a Japanese Sorane ZA-12 high-mass tonearm and the renowned EMT HSD-006 broadcast phono cartridge.

Original Garrard 301 Chassis

Completely rebuilt to original specifications.

Available in black or cream color. Original grease bearing or newer oil bearing.

AG Transcription Oil

30ML Lab matched to the original Garrard oil and enhanced for sintered bronze bushes.

AG Bearing Brace

Bolsters the bearing mount area. 5mm carbon fibre - x6 stiffer than aluminum.

AG Bastion Plate

Hand laid 5 mm carbon fibre stiffening plate for the Garrard 301 (comes with mounting screws + instructions). Non invasive; no glue or drilling. High graphite content which affords high damping.

The 301 chassis was designed before the release of STEREO; as such the chassis is too thin in places. This lack of rigidity causes to muddle the sound. Garrard know this hence the considerable ribbing of the Garrard 401 specifically done at great expense for STEREO reproduction.
