KIN Play powered bookshelf speakers are a simple yet versatile audio solution, free from the burden of being physically bound or reliant on separate, complicated amplifiers. Its own formidable 120 watt amplifier powers drivers purposefully designed to synergize together and energize your space with pure Totem acoustics.
An amp bypass input, coupled with auto on/input sensing, enable the KIN Play to be easily controlled by streaming components and custom installation systems.

The powered concept combines simplicity, convenience, modern technology, and versatility.
Simplicity: Requires no additional amplifier so there’s no complicated wiring.
Modern technology: Equipped with Bluetooth for wireless streaming.

Arsenal of Inputs
Beyond Bluetooth, KIN Play has an arsenal of inputs to ensure you can connect anything and everything. This includes a switchable Phono/Line stereo RCA input for anything from a TV to a turntable; 3.5mm (Mini Jack) Input for computers, phones, and other portable devices; Optical input for digital sources like satellite, gaming systems, streamers; Subwoofer output to add a powered subwoofer; Amp bypass input for custom installations.
Customized Drivers
Every single driver is completely unique to Totem and proprietary in design, engineered by Totem and then manufactured to the strictest standards to meet our parameters by the finest raw driver suppliers in the world. In some cases, where the technology is beyond the capabilities of suppliers or is wished to kept secret, Totem can and will build our own drivers. Every driver exhibits phase linearity, speed, emotion, off axis natural presentation, and spatial articulation.
Customized Amplification
The powerful amplifier was designed in tandem with the drivers to ensure harmonious interaction with the drivers. To ensure perfect phase linearity and ensure Totem’s sonic signature, absolutely no DSP is used.

Included are all the accessories required right in the box to get started with most sources such as 4 Meters / 12 feet of 16-gauge, 19 strand, Oxygen Free Copper wire terminated with dual banana plugs, 17 function aluminum remote, 3.5mm (mini jack) and Optical interconnects, and adhesive backed isolation feet.

Rather than just make the same models again, we decided to rework the complete range. Significant attention has been paid to better cabinet construction and finish, and the crossovers and drive units have also been improved.
We eventually decided to make the entire range in the same Austrian factory as all of our other ‘speakers. As such, the build quality is - as you would expect - superb.
Initially we will offer two real wood veneers: European Walnut and Black Ash.
We are also introducing the long promised but never released AX Three model which will fill the gap between the AN-K/D and the AX-Two. More information on this will be coming presently!
