Product Overview

This is an orthodox-style pre-main amplifier composed entirely of vacuum tubes. With an input stage of ECC83 and ECC82, and an EL34 push-pull output stage paired with Lundahl output transformers in UL connection, it delivers 31W + 31W output power. The amplifier features a 22mm-thick solid maple wood frame and a 4mm solid aluminum top plate, creating a perfectly rigid body structure with no deflection. The heavy transformer and sensitive vacuum tube components are supported by this construction to reproduce substantial mid-low frequencies and delicate high frequencies. Carefully designed and handcrafted, it is built not only to meet the demands of the modern high-resolution digital era, but also to provide outstanding performance for analog playback. This amplifier is made to be used and cherished for many years—a true Tube Amplifier that will remain unchanged for decades to come.

Features
As a basic pre-main amplifier, it comes equipped with 4 RCA line inputs and a volume control in the standard configuration. Three optional versions are available:

1. XLR input ×1 + RCA ×3

2. MM phono stage + 3 RCA inputs

3. RCA/XLR input for use as a power amplifier

The rear panel can be replaced depending on the chosen option, allowing you to decide in advance or change it later. Resistors are sourced from Vishay, PRP, and Japanese TAKMAN; film capacitors from WIMA (Germany); and electrolytic capacitors from TDK-EPCOS. Careful attention is given to the quality and reliability of these parts.  The power transformer and choke transformer are custom-made in Japan for Aurorasound, while the rectifier diode is a ROHM silicon carbide type, offering ultra-low noise and the highest voltage capability to date. Various terminals are also carefully selected, with thick-wall gold plating. The EL34 output tubes use a self-biasing system that makes maintenance easy and allows replacement with other brands of EL34 without the need for bias readjustment.
