C.E.C. CD 2N Belt-Drive CD Player

Thanks to its patented double belt drive in combination with an audiophile ESS converter chip from the new SABRE PRO series, the new CD 2N delivers an extremely audiophile sound level that was previously unimaginable; extremely "analog" due to its audibly relaxed running smoothness, musical, authentic, detailed and neutral in the best sense of the word. The built-in D/A converter performs at the highest level and the CD 2N offers the option of a WordClock input to make the digital signals even more audibly precise using a clock generator. Thanks to two selectable filters, the sound can be varied: "Flat" sounds a little more responsive and dynamic, "Pulse" a little softer but more detailed. There is also the option of upsampling the native CD signal from 16 bit / 44.1 kHz to 24 bit / 88.2 kHz or 176.4 kHz, depending on your personal listening preferences.
