CAR 70 is now our top model, featuring a diamond cantilever with integrated diamond tip, made from a single piece of diamond. This is more rigid and better damped than any other material used for cantilevers. The diamond tip, being part of the cantilever, avoids any glued joints between the cantilever and diamond needle.
The diamond cantilever is encapsulated in a sapphire tube, which holds the coil's plate, providing a rigid structure.
