The AT617a cartridge stylus cleaner is a specially formulated polyurethane gel that gently removes dirt particles from the stylus tip when the stylus is lowered onto it.

The beautifully finished precision machined nonmagnetic stainless steel base and top modules are girdled by a layer of damping carbon fiber. The bottom surface is covered with 16 concentric cushioning grooves made of an extremely effective Piezo Electric damping material.

This is a weight clamp machined from aged solid African blackwood — the same material used for clarinet horns. Its shape helps neutralize vibrations in the record during playback.

Many clamps flatten records successfully but have very mixed results on sound quality. As a generalization, most tend to enhance and pump up the bass whilst dulling down the upper mid-band. There is also a perceived softening of dynamics (even in the bass), a slowing down of the sound and the decay of notes suffers.

The Origin Live Technics Armboard enables you to radicaly upgrade your deck to use a Rega RB250, RB300, RB600 or any Origin live arm with your Technics SL1200, SL1210 or turntable.
