Kuzma Stabi S Turntable
The Stabi S is our most compact turntable, designed with engineering principles typically reserved for higher-end models. Its distinctive structure—crafted from solid brass rods—ensures an exceptionally rigid connection between the platter, bearing, and tonearm support.
There is no flat plinth to resonate or transmit vibrations; instead, two solid brass rods, each 50 mm in diameter, form the foundation. One rod supports the platter and tonearm, while the second adds structural stability. These are clamped together in a rigid T-shaped configuration.
The motor is housed separately in its own solid brass tower, effectively damping any vibration generated by the motor. A precision-ground flat belt delivers drive from the motor pulley to the subplatter, ensuring smooth, stable rotation.

The bearing is made from highly polished, fine-grain carbon steel with a single-point contact. The bearing sleeve is crafted from a resin/textile composite, chosen for its excellent damping and non-resonant properties.
The solid aluminium platter, equipped with a mat on top and a rubber damping insert underneath, provides a stable, non-resonant platform for vinyl playback. Since 2018, the platter has been supplied in a thicker 30 mm version for added mass and stability.
An acrylic cover protects both the platter and tonearm while visually echoing the turntable’s unique shape. A 45 rpm adaptor is included and simply fits over the 33 rpm pulley for quick speed changes.
The turntable accommodates a variety of tonearms through the use of interchangeable pre-cut brass mounting plates, and allows for VTA adjustment on any installed tonearm.
The entire turntable can be optionally supported by a high-density plywood base for additional stability.
