Audio Note™ turntables are all designed and built according to a core set of four fundamental insights into what delivers musicality. We have settled on these design principles after many years of experimentation and experience. They can be found on every Audio Note™ turntable from the TT-One right through to the TT Three Reference in which they achieve their ultimate expression.
A suspended chassis attenuates vibration energy from the speakers and the room to deliver purity of reproduction. A low mass platter absorbs much less energy from the cartridge in the groove of the record without deadening the sound.
A vibration free high torque AC drive system delivers constant platter speed even when the grooves contain strong modulations.
The transmission of vibration in our turntables and arms is managed through the use of materials with different resonances and mass, so that energy is led away from the cartridge, where it does harm to the sound.

Drive System
High mass torque without any of the usual 'high mass platter' energy storage problems.
Very light, highly inert platter made from Lexan, which has virtually no reflective properties nor any resonance storage problems.
Rubber belt driving the platter around its outside rim.
3 immensely powerful motors, whose speed is “locked” together by the master control unit’s digitally synthesised frequency.
This combination provides a platform with levels of stability and torque which high mass turntables can only dream of! When the high mass stored in the motors provides torque to drive the light, inert platter, the energy is focused as rotation, nothing else, and the best of both worlds is achieved.
Audio-Technica began in 1962 as a designer and manufacturer of high-end phonograph cartridges, bringing to the audio world the innovative Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge with its outstanding channel separation, extended frequency response and superb tracking.
The AT-LP7 builds on this heritage.
Audio-Technica expands its line of direct-drive turntables with the semi-automatic AT-LP8X, featuring a newly designed tonearm lift that automatically raises the tonearm at the end of a record side and stops the motor.
The AT-LPA2 is the finest turntable Audio-Technica has ever developed, designed to reveal the purity of analog audio.
Assembled from transparent acrylic, the AT-LPA2 fully manual belt-drive turntable combines contemporary aesthetics with analog expertise, while remaining incredibly easy to set up and use. We designed the AT-LPA2 to minimize resonance, which can cause noise and distortion in the signal chain, while maximizing detailed audio reproduction of your vinyl records with crystal-clear accuracy. Not only is the acrylic stunning, it is also an ideal material for turntable construction, greatly reducing reverberations that might otherwise affect sound clarity.

The EMT 928 II is a massive built precision turntable with an overall weight of 23kg. The chassis is machined from aluminium, resting on four decoupled, spherical feet.
It features an independent battery power source, so any interference from the power grid is excluded. The built-in charger circuit handles the charging cycles automatically and shows the status with a two-colour LED.
A most modern 20 Watts motor speeds up the 5,5kg platter in a short time and keeps the speed constant within a narrow tolerance-field.

The Stabi S is our most compact turntable, designed with engineering principles typically reserved for higher-end models. Its distinctive structure—crafted from solid brass rods—ensures an exceptionally rigid connection between the platter, bearing, and tonearm support.
There is no flat plinth to resonate or transmit vibrations; instead, two solid brass rods, each 50 mm in diameter, form the foundation. One rod supports the platter and tonearm, while the second adds structural stability. These are clamped together in a rigid T-shaped configuration.
The motor is housed separately in its own solid brass tower, effectively damping any vibration generated by the motor. A precision-ground flat belt delivers drive from the motor pulley to the subplatter, ensuring smooth, stable rotation.
The Stabi SD is a special version of the Stabi S turntable, designed to accommodate two tonearms. The second tonearm is mounted on the extended T-section of the main turntable chassis.
The standard Stabi S can be modified to accept a second tonearm by simply replacing the shorter T-beam with an extended version (available in 9- or 12-inch lengths), which also increases the overall mass of the Stabi SD turntable.
Due to this construction, the original dust cover of the Stabi S does not fit the Stabi SD.
The Stabi S can also be converted into a 12-inch version.
The Stabi R is a very compact turntable, machined from a solid block of aluminum, with a built-in electronic power supply. Drive is provided by a DC motor and a proprietary, non-flexible drive belt.

The Stabi Ref was first introduced in 1992.
It is constructed from two plates, each made using a sandwich structure of two 10 mm aluminum layers separated by an acrylic plate, all clamped together with pre-stressed, non-magnetic stainless steel screws. The turntable chassis (top plate) is suspended by large springs submerged in silicone oil, achieving a low resonance of 2.2 Hz, which effectively damps the movement of the springs themselves. The main base (bottom plate) is supported by three aluminum and stainless steel spikes. The top plate can be easily leveled using four adjustment knobs. When the top plate is lifted (for transport), the silicone suspension reservoirs are automatically sealed.
This is a modern turntable, designed in a classic style with an emphasis on delivering the best possible record playback.
Its large size allows even 12-inch tonearms to be mounted and fully covered by a massive acrylic dust cover on spring-loaded hinges. The dust cover is designed to resist vibrations, even from loud music.
The XL DC differs from the earlier Stabi XL, XL2, and XL4 turntables by using a specially developed DC motor, a precision-machined plastic belt, and a new power supply (PS DC), together providing a unique and consistently precise drive to the platter.
This new drive system elevates the turntable’s performance to a new level.
The XL AIR turntable differs from the Stabi XL DC turntable by using an air bearing and an additional bronze platter, resulting in a total platter mass of 44 kg. The Stabi XL DC can be upgraded to the XL AIR version by installing the XL AIR kit. Current delivery time is 30–45 days.
The charm of timeless vinyl playback deepens thanks to our LUXMAN PD-151 MARK II. A new standard in the pursuit of functional beauty.
LUXMAN introduces the PD-191A, a premium turntable system designed to replace the long running PD-171 series.
The Swift adds the Multi-Layer Platter to the basic design of the Aurora turntable, with its cantilevered design, motor power supply and decoupled arm board. The MLP layers work to diffuse surface resonance in the platter through vibrational interference, resulting in a texture in the music freed from resonant artefacts. This new turntable delivers a performance that surpasses its price point by miles, offering a sure investment for your system.

If you purchase a Takumi, you purchase perfection. You purchase the result of craftsmanship and passion, and you can breathlessly enjoy your favourite music, played on an elegant-looking machine with a divine sound.
Vinyl has made a comeback. This also means that there are more and more turntables in circulation. More models are presented on the market, but do they also give you that warm feeling that you are looking for? Both technically and optically, you only want the best of the best.
That is possible with the Takumi TT level 2.1DC, a turntable that can compete with models from higher price classes at a favourable price. So, what are you waiting for?
The Takumi TT level 3.1 comes with a precisely machined Delrin platter. Delrin is the material of choice for multiple reasons. The material properties of Delrin and Vinyl records are very similar, resulting in near perfect coupling and therefore minimizing mechanical vibrations. Furthermore, the density of Delrin is higher than that of Acrylic, increasing the mass of the platter, which increases speed stability thereby reducing wow and flutter. Finally, the elegant look of the Delrin platter is the “cherry on the cake” for the level 3.1.
