At the heart of the tonearm is a rigid, conical sapphire tube, providing an exceptionally stiff platform that allows the cartridge to perform at its absolute best. The sapphire tube is mounted into a massive block of solid aluminium and brass, creating an inert, ultra-stable structure that dissipates vibrations generated during playback and bearing movement. A counterweight with a locking mechanism ensures proper balance of the tonearm. Azimuth and VTA adjustments can be made in small, repeatable increments with zero play using a standard Allen key.
The tonearm is mounted to the turntable arm board via the Kuzma arm base. VTA adjustments are made by raising or lowering the tonearm pillar using the VTA screw, allowing precise on-the-fly changes when needed.
Internal wiring is made from a superior silver alloy. A continuous run of four wires leads directly from the cartridge pins through a 1.5 m tonearm cable, terminating in high-quality silver RCA Bullet connectors.
