Pure Analogue
The AOS is a two stage “all analogue amplifier” with no digital control circuitry. The fully aluminium case screens the internal circuit from any stray RFI signals. Our designers have avoided including any unnecessary components or circuits that may degrade the signal path. The AOS incorporates many innovative design ideas including a self-adjusting servo control which compensates for any variations in ambient or operating temperature.
The AOS utilises parallel connected, low noise FETs (Field Effect Transistors) configured as a compound pair. The use of FET transistors ensures there is no bias current flowing in the cartridge coil so as not to upset the delicate magnetic geometry of the cartridge. The MC input has the provision for selecting resistive input loading of 70 Ω to 400 Ω and capacitive loading of 1000 pF to 4300 pF. The input sensitivity can be changed by 6 dB via the back panel. An automatic standby feature has also been added which puts the unit to sleep after a period of no signal. This can be deactivated via dip switches located on the rear panel.
First Stage: The first stage is a symmetrical, complementary class A amplifier, using Linear Systems ultra-low noise FET (Field Effect Transistor) transistors. The use of FET transistors ensures there is no bias current flowing in the cartridge coil so as not to upset the delicate magnetic geometry of the cartridge. The input circuit configuration also alleviates the use of any coupling components between the cartridge output and the input stage FET transistors, which would degrade the sound. The complementary ultra-low noise FET transistors are carefully graded and matched for optimum performance.
This stage drives the passive high-frequency part of the RIAA equalisation stage. The complementary ultra-low noise FET transistors are carefully graded and matched for optimum performance. This stage drives the passive high-frequency part of the RIAA equalisation stage.
Second Stage: The second stage is a symmetrical, class A, differential amplifier with a common base driver stage; this is also used as the active amplifier in the low-frequency part of the RIAA equalisation stage.

The DS-E3 is the successor of the DS-E1. It benefits from an important number of upgrades inherent to the third generation of DS Audio products.
“Truly beyond price. The DS-E3 is a revolutionary technology in historic record reproduction.” — Ikuo Tsunoda, Audio Critic
“The DS 003 shows emphatically how trickle-down technology benefits the customer, while maintain a pecking order. As close as it is to the mind-boggling Grand Master, enough differences ensure that the two can co-exist: the DS 003 is the more lively of the two, the Grand Master the more subtle. That said, if you can afford a Grand Master, buy it. If you cannot, the astonishing DS 003 will still blow your mind” — Ken Kessler Hi Fi News
The next generation of the Grand Master.
“The Grand Master is so truly supreme in resolution, transparency, spatial recreation, neutrality and any other parameter I can name that it’s impossible for me not say what I usually try to avoid: ‘This may be the best cartridge I’ve ever heard.’” — Ken Kessler Hi Fi News 2021
Hybrid EQ Amplifier with Tube Buffer Output
The TB-50 employs a hybrid architecture in which the amplification circuit, including RIAA equalization, is implemented in solid-state circuitry, while the final output stage passes through a vacuum tube buffer. This combination delivers ideal signal amplification through solid-state design, together with the rich harmonic expression that only vacuum tubes can provide. The TB-50 uses the same ECC82 (12AU7) tubes as our flagship TB-100, bringing the world of DS tube Audio sound to a broader range of music lovers.
Experience a New Analog Era with Vacuum Tubes and Optical Cartridges.
The TB-100 features carefully selected, quad-matched ECC82 (12AU7) tubes, optimized specifically for this model. Using in-house tools, performance variations during operation are minimized to within 1% (0.1dB), ensuring peak performance.

New milestones in phono equalizer amplifier that skillfully enhance analog playback.
The role of a phono equalizer amplifier is to accurately and carefully amplify the emotional nuances of the music detected by the phono cartridge from the record and pass it to the next stage amplifier. LUXMAN, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, has developed the E-07, an all-solid-state phono equalizer amplifier that sets a new benchmark in performance and sound quality. This model is designed to further enhance the enjoyment of deep analog vinyl playback.
The Moonriver Audio 505 phono stage meets all the needs of any demanding audiophile who loves vinyl records, both now and in the future. Designed with audiophiles, record collectors and vinyl freaks in mind, it boasts 4 inputs for all your turntables, tone-arms and cartridges. It also supports every possible adjustment on the fly with dedicated knobs and switches to ideally match your MC or MM cartridge.
There are two dedicated phono amplifiers in the Sugden range and both are borne from our passion for vinyl. The Stage Two offers exceptional value for money with facilities to cater for both MM and MC cartridges. The design is a two box system separating the power supply from the amplifier. The phono amplifier has fixed loading for MM and 100 and 470 Ohm selection for MC.
Our design criteria was to produce a product that was as neutral as possible, retaining a faithful and enjoyable analogue sound.
